As a former elementary and middle school teacher, a 2007 recipient of Wal-Mart’s Teacher of the Year and graduate of The International Culinary Center, New York City, Lori brings a professional background of combined expertise and experience in education and the culinary arts. Lori uses cooking as a platform for teaching food literacy, academic reinforcement, boosting self-confidence, life skills and social skills in children to help the next generation live healthy lives through hands-on educational programming.
