I’m in new york. I arrived yesterday after a tough good bye to my loved ones. The first thing I did was eat at Miriam’s, an israeli restaurant; have chocolate at The Chocolate Spot and went to Target. I was in bed by 10pm…some things never change :).
Today, I picked up my things at the local post office and hauled it all up 3 flights of stairs…no need for an expensive gym membership here! After lunch, I ckd out the local food co-op…very cool!! It’s a membership driven/operated grocery store where dues support local farming and products-yea! I also found a great little fabric shop just a few blocks from my apt. That’s the neat thing; I’m just a few blocks from everything-love it! I may ck out Prospect Park this evening…we’ll see.
By the way, I’ve already been proposed to. The haggler at the subway entry told me he loves me and wants to marry me…no kidding. But then again, he was saying that to every woman who walked by. So, I guess things are a little interesting around here 🙂
